IN THE SPOTLIGHT; One of our own, mister LOUIS MAHN
SP-4 LOUIS MAHN works hard along with Ken Jones to bring up names of our somewhat lost generation of Heroes. He lives in the great northwest. After leaving the military, he received his Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering from Walla Walla College in Washington state. He is still a strong believer in our church; holding many titles and helping the less fortunate within his Engineering ways. We as Whitecoats are very proud of LOUIS MAHN, and wish him well within his endeavors. WCL

The Fort Detrick Brass
Here are some of the higher ranking people of Fort Detrick 1956
President DWIGHT EISENHOWER
This powerful man was the President when I served my country. He's seen here remeniscing about "D DAY." - The Supreme Allied Commander "5 STAR" with painful decisions, knowing full well that so many young men would die soon within that great sacrifice upon the beaches and hedgerows of a Grand Assault, and the world would know of his courage under fire; was General Dwight David Eisenhower.
Touchdown at Dougway Proving Grounds 1954
Bacterial Test Odyssey. Private Chancey Minor; now deceased, in foreground, and the others by the DC-6 airplane.
Something to Contemplate
When pondering upon our mortalities and of how life moves along; General Tommy Franks was just about ten years old when I was a US Army Whitecoat. I guess I'm getting real old?
WALTER ARNOLD LARSEN; my beloved father
Violinist and musician extraordinairre, Artist and Published writer of childrens stories. World War One SDA Consciencious Objector and War Hero. Here he is seen at the Kings Palace in Copenhagen, Denmark, where he wore the royal guards uniform for a photo op. He was a great grandson, "ill begotten" of King Christian 1X, whom was known as the "Grandfather of Europe."
The amazing doctor RALPH SWENSON, as he may look today.
When I became engaged to my beautiful wife Nancy, my friend Ralph said, "just think, she is going to be the mother of your children !!" Unforgettable words from a good person. WCL
President Woodrow Wilson PHD in 1917 - Honest Politician, Chancellor at Princeton University - Governor of New Jersey - Professor - President of The United States Of America
This was my fathers president, as Corporal Walter Arnold Larsen; 1889-1971, served this country within the trenches of France as one of the first Seventh Day Adventist Conscientious Objectors. He was a Medic and Bugler for his company, and came back with "shell shock." A Danish citizen, he earned his American citizenship with his profound efforts upon the battlefield. In fact, his experiences were so terrible that he would not talk about them !
